ant to strengthen your pelvic floor and your core muscles? Your pelvic floor needs strengthening just like any other muscle. It isn't enough to do sporadic kegel exercises, recent research shows that your pelvic floor needs movement to get really strong just like any other muscle.

In the Holistic Core Restore® classes we take a holistic approach to restore your core strength using breathing techniques, mindful movement and reviewing lifestyle changes you can make so you look and feel stronger and more confident.

If you have a diastasis recti (a separation of your abdominal muscles) the Holistic Core Restore® techniques will help strengthen your abdominal muscles.  I have already helped numerous women in Reigate regain their confidence in their body shape so please get in touch to discuss and review my testimonials on the Diastiasis Healing Programme page

Holistic Core Restore® classes and techniques are for every woman from pregnancy, post natal and way beyond into later life. Everyone can benefit from improved pelvic floor and core strength!

All moves are recommended by specialist women's health physiotherapists who have approved the programme to strengthen your pelvic floor and your abdominal muscles.

Holistic Core Restore® courses are currently running on Tuesday evenings in Reigate.  They are 6 week live courses followed by 6 weeks online with support via a fantastic online learning portal.

Completing the course has given me more confidence in myself. It's also given me a greater awareness and understanding of how everyday movements impact my core. I already had some understanding of posture and breathing techniques when exercising, but it was great to dedicate some focused time to this and to go through the exercises and techniques thoroughly. Following the course, I feel more in control of my pelvic floor. I can now stop myself from going when I get a sudden urge, and therefore have a lot less (if any) leaking now. I also feel stronger in my core overall.

The course was really really helpful, thank-you. I have seen a big improvement in pelvic floor strength, especially in terms of leaking when jumping/sneezing etc. Pip was brilliant at explaining how pelvic core strength relates to breath control and how to use breathing to engage the core. My back is also less sore and I feel healthier in general

I am alot more aware now of how to hold myself during both exercising and every day activities, and I feel more confident that I can take what I've learnt to help with improving my fitness level.

Taking that time each week to regroup and focus on new exercises really helped keep the momentum up. From the very first class Pip’s way of explaining the pelvic floor and the breathing really was a “lightbulb” moment for me, and ever since that first class I have been able to focus my attention on my core in everyday life.

I feel confident about what exercises I can do that will help my core and not cause damage. I have noticed more strength and better apparence around my middle as a result which is a great confidence boost.

Hugely beneficial. Gave me back core strength, confidence, less back pain, better looking 'mummy pouch' - reduced significantly.

The course has been truly great in helping me along the way to postpartum recovery. My prolapse symptoms started greatly improving around week 3 of the programme which was amazing and motivated me to keep going. I used to wear pelvic floor support shorts but since completing the course I no longer need them!

The course has been hugely beneficial to me! Having suffered a bladder prolapse 3 months ago, I haven’t been able to do much exercise or even normal day-to-day activities. My strength has increased significantly and my connection to my pelvic floor is so much better. My physio has seen a dramatic improvement and is now helping me work back towards high impact exercise.

I definitely feel stronger both in my core and pelvic floor. As a result day to day activities with small Children I feel I have more strength.

There has been a real improvement in my pelvic and core strength got me back to exercise after a major gynaecological surgery.

Great course. Definitely improved awareness of pelvic floor and how it works functions. The course has improved strength and control.

I feel I am more in control of my body and the need to use the toilet. I feel safer to jump up and down.

A great way to focus on improving pelvic floor strength

The course has been beneficial in a number of areas.  My bladder control has improved dramatically, coughing and sneezing are not perilous anymore!

From joining the course shortly after my second baby, I thought  I would never recover! Now I know I can... I have seen vast improvements in the 6 weeks.

I now have a bank of exercises I can use and know how to help myself strengthen my pelvic floor

Great course to raise awareness of your core and realise you are not alone!

The programme wasn't complicated,  it is great for pelvic floor awareness and my stomach muscles went from a 2 and 1/2 finger separation to a 2 finger separation.  Pip was an exceptional instructor - very engaging.

I'm more in tune with my breathing and engaging my core and pelvic floor

I feel more confident now and will try trampolining as a test!

The course helped me feel more confident and relaxed about my pelvic floor health

I've seen a real improvement in my pelvic floor and my core feels stronger too which has given me confidence to return to exercise

One really noticeable development is that the first time in a while I have woken up and not had a back ache.  Honestly I cannot tell you how different I feel and noticing my tummy is a tighter too.

Rachel Smith

Here are a few thoughts from 2 women currently doing the programme:

Already had two early morning runs this weekend and one really noticeable development is that the first time in a while I have woken up and not had a back ache. Honestly I cannot tell you how different I feel and noticing my tummy is a tighter too.

I'm far more aware of my posture, lifting and my breathing. It's made me more conscious of what I'm drinking and I know I have triggers which remind me to "squeeze". No leaky episodes this week :-)
