Part trainer, part life coach, part friend: Pip is a fantastic, friendly person to work with who helped me to achieve better results than I thought possible, and taught me so much that I can now exercise safely after childbirth and will never do another sit-up again! Every session was pitched at exactly the right level to really push me, but still be achievable and enjoyable.
Extremely beneficial! The gap in my stomach muscles has almost gone, I have increased definition and am well on the way to getting my pre mummy tummy back!
I followed the diastasis course with Pip and have seen fantastic results. When I started I was very unhappy with my shape and was suffering with almost constant back pain. After 3 months there was a massive difference in both the size of the gap and the strength of my muscles.
I followed the diastasis course with Pip and have seen fantastic results. When I started I had a gap of about 3cm and had very weak muscles. I was very unhappy with my shape and was suffering with almost constant back pain. I also have an umbilical hernia. I saw a consultant at about that time about the hernia who spoke to me about the option of surgically stitching my muscles together. We agreed I would spend 3 months following the diastasis programme with Pip before being reassessed for surgery. When I saw the consultant again, he was impressed with the difference in both the size of the gap and the strength of my muscles, and I am now booked in for surgery just to repair the hernia. I wish I had followed this programme after my first child, but better late than never because the results have been amazing! Pip's enthusiasm for the course and conviction in the results is contagious.
I found the programme extremely beneficial! The gap in my stomach muscles has almost gone, I have increased definition and am well on the way to getting my pre mummy tummy back. I found the one to one sessions really useful and enjoyable - it was great to really focus on my body in a positive way for the first time in quite some time. I had great results from focused exercises for a very small and manageable amount of time each day :)
Following the first pregnancy I was left with a diastasis. After my second pregnancy it got worse and increased leaving me with a larger protrusion and a gap that was 3 fingers in width. I also had severe pelvic girdle pain and subsequent postnatal difficulties making exercise challenging and a very terrifying thought. I was extremely weak and unconfident about both my ability and tummies appearance. I saw my GP who informed me that it was unlikely to heal and may remain as it was. Surgery or low confidence seemed like the only option until I met Pip!!!!!!! Now nearly 4 months on I am confident and loosing weight too, ready for that little black Christmas number and the gap is now less than 1 finger space!
